Ritz-Carlton bought this landmark nineteenth-century New York hotel in 2002 and it still retains the refined atmosphere of the St. Moritz Hotel’s bygone age. The spectacle of the doormen and the horse-drawn carriages, the sleek marble lobby, and the refined details of the rooms, suites and wood-panelled lounge match the historic surroundings.

Ritz-Carlton has also done a great job of bringing the Ritz-Carlton Central Park bang up to date; with the first La Prairie spa in the US, fitness centre and the acclaimed farm-to-fork Auden Bistro.
