The Honeymoon Gift List service from Murray Travel is a fantastic way of having your dream honeymoon, while at the same time making it really easy for your guests (and others) to know what to get you as a wedding gift.

The Honeymoon Gift List service is quite simple. Everyone can contribute to the cost of your honeymoon. You can either add the honeymoon to your existing wedding list, or ask everyone to contribute to your honeymoon….we’ll take care of the rest.

How does it work?

You choose your honeymoon and in most cases, simply pay a deposit (this secures the holiday).

We’ll then provide you with a unique reference number (and instructions) to tell you how anyone can contact us and pay off part of the cost of your honeymoon.

Your friends and family contact us and pay into the account. We’ll send them each a receipt so that they know it’s all confirmed. Then prior to your wedding we’ll give you a full list of everyone who’s contributed, so you can thank each one personally.

If more money is received than the actual cost of the honeymoon (as is often the case) you can choose to either use the money against a second holiday at any point in the future, or we’ll send you a cheque for the remaining balance.

What does it cost?

We offer this service completely free for anyone booking a honeymoon through us.

Who can contribute?

Anyone can contribute to the cost of your honeymoon. We will never tell anyone the total cost of the holiday, who has contributed or how much has been contributed, except you.

How do people pay?

When you book your honeymoon, we’ll register you for the Honeymoon Gift List Service. We’ll provide you with a honeymoon gift card with simple instructions on how to contribute to the cost of your honeymoon. All you need to do is pass these instructions on to your friends, family and everyone you know, even those people not attending the wedding.

They can then choose to pay by phone, post or even online, in complete confidence and privacy.

What if we're not sure where we want to go?

Not a problem. For a refundable £5 deposit, we can set up the account and once everyone has contributed, and you know the balance, you can then decide where you want to go. Add more to it to make it extra special, or if you happen to have more in your account, take it back and use it as spending money for those Pina Coladas at sunset!
